As the largest logistics company in the world, DHL has committed to zero emissions by 2050. In this session, we will discuss DHL's global sustainability agenda, then move to Asia Pacific to highlight the challenges to sustainability in transport and the current activities and programs DHL Supply Chain are undertaking to reduce their transport emissions in APAC.

About the Speaker

Kaleb is based in Bangkok and leads transport business development in Asia Pacific for DHL Supply Chain. Kaleb has nearly two decades experience in transport, starting his career as a truck driver before completing university and working in operational roles for multiple global logistics providers, and as a country transport lead for a global electronics company, his expertise in transport operations and solutioning helps him build sustainable solutions with customers across the region.

2. SMEs: A Crucial Part of the Puzzle

What roles do SMEs play within the green freight and logistics sector in the APAC region? In this session, we will explore the barriers that SMEs face in decarbonizing their supply chain, and the importance of technology capacity development and network governance in overcoming them.

About the Speaker

Mr. Rosandi is in charge of the funding mechanisms for the Mekong Institute that have been established through the Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF). He is responsible for inputs to the monitoring and evaluation of regional projects implementation in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand. His portfolio includes capacity development projects on Green Freight and Logistics Development in Mekong Countries with public and private sectors, particularly SMEs as the beneficiaries. Mr. Rosandi obtained his master’s degree in Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Development from Leipzig University, Germany. He is currently a Doctoral candidate from the Khon Kaen University, Thailand.
