In this webinar, Purnima will speak about waste-to-energy solutions that might significantly transform renewable energy practices in the industry, and upcoming projects by Kaltimex Energy to contribute towards building a circular economy in the coming years.


About the speaker

Purnima Ralhan has fifteen years of experience as an educator focusing on biology, chemistry, and the environmental sciences in top international schools in Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India. She has a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and a master's degree in Education that she earned during her time in the United States. She also published a peer-reviewed paper in hematology based on her biomedical research at the University of Pennsylvania. Purnima sustains a lifelong passion for environmental preservation and sustainable solutions. Her non-profit environmental efforts include collaborations with WWF-Indonesia and other NGOs in several SEA countries. Some of her conservation efforts have involved rehabilitating coral reefs, turtle, and orangutan populations, building micro-economies for seaweed farmers and planting mangroves on depleted coastlines. She has worked for Kaltimex Energy for three years. She initially focused on management and recently collaborated to introduce sustainable solutions for its renewable energy division.
