About the Eco-Driving Programme

Eco-driving refers to driving methods that save fuel, helping to reduce carbon emissions. For many fleets, eco-driving is a low-cost and low-tech method that brings huge cost reductions and fuel savings, lowering the carbon footprint of logistics operations.

In collaboration with certified eco-driving partners, GFA members can participate in eco-driving training sessions for their staff.

Eco-driving Training Modules

Two types of modules are offered:

1) Train the Driver, which directly teaches drivers about eco-driving.

2) Train the Trainer, which allows fleet managers to earn training certification and hold in-house training sessions for their drivers.

Benefits of Eco-driving

1) Improving driver safety and reducing accidents

2) Up to 20% long-term fuel savings

3) Reduce fleet carbon emissions

4) Increase vehicle lifespan and reduce maintenance costs
